For 75 years George's Bar has been a Waco staple for burgers and beer.  Thanks to country music artist Pat Green George's has become world renown, in his songs George's Bar and College he pays tribute to the good spirits and food he has experienced at George's.  George's is famous for their burgers, sandwiches, and all around good, greasy bar food.  They offer a variety of grub such as seafood, Tex-Mex, steaks, and country fried everything.  A trip to George's isn't complete without a Big-O, given the name by a waitress back in the '60's when she called the extra large glasses of beer "Big Oranges" which was shortened to "Big-O's".  These large glasses don't on;y have to be filled with beer, George's bar offers a variety of mixed drinks and margaritas.  A perfect spot for game day, George's has big screen t.v.'s wherever you look and for Baylor football games they open up the "George's Tent" where Bears fans can enjoy beer and bar food before, during, and after the games right across the street from Floyd Casey Stadium.  George's also hosts several country musicians for concerts in the bar on the weekends.

Average Entree Price: $7 - $13
