SAM's on the Square was added to the Castillo enterprises (owners of La Fiesta) in the past year, located in downtown Waco.  The modernistic bar and taqueria offers several different cuisines including Mexican (of course), Mediterranean, Korean, and Asian.  Starting off the meal, SAM's offers up some delectable appetizers such as cuban cigars (pork, chili and cheese wrapped in tortillas) and the infamous Waco Dr. Pepper Wings.  For entrees there are salads and tacos with brisket, shrimp, ribs, chicken, and fish.  For dessert there are several dishes including key lime pie and dule de leche.  SAM's bar has become a hotspot in the Waco nightlife offering up margaritas, two of their most famous "The Square Margarita" and "The Austin Purple Margarita" (the purple has a limit of 2 per customer!).  Along with margaritas, SAM's has 20 beer son tap and 24 beers by the bottle, shots galore and cocktails.  Whether your looking for a "street-car" taco or a delicious margarita check out SAM's on the Square!
